CapFriendly has reported the Arizona Coyotes have signed Czech goaltender Karel Vejmelka to a one-year entry-level contract.
Seems that there was a mix up. Vejmelka signed with Arizona, and not with Nashville.

So, let's try this again...
G Karel Vejmelka #Coyotes
1 year ELC starting in 2021-22
$842,500 cap hit / $925,000 AAV
2021-22: $750.0k Base + $92.5k SB + $82.5k GP
Vejmelka was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Since being drafted, he has spent his entire career playing in the Czech Republic.
The 6' 4" 203-pound netminder has had an impressive career so far in the Czech Republic. He won a silver medal at the U18 World Junior Championship and was a Czech Extraliga Champion for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.
This past season, Vejmelka played 35 games with HC Kometa Brno and had a .911 save percentage and a 2.79 goals-against average. He played eight playoff games and had a .910 save percentage and a 2.39 goals-against average.
There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Coyotes' goaltending in the future. Antti Raanta is set to become an unrestricted free agent, and Adin Hill may be lost in the upcoming Seattle Expansion Draft. Ivan Prosvetov has been good in the AHL, but it is unknown if he is ready to play in the NHL.
