On October 25th, in a game against the Florida Panthers, Arizona Coyotes took a big hit and immediately went down in pain. He was assisted off the ice and hasn't played a game for the Coyotes since.

While initially, it appeared that Timmins would miss between eight and twelve weeks before being eligible to return, that would prove to be too optimistic. Earlier today, PHNX's Craig Morgan reported that the young defenseman would miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

This isn't the first time that injuries have hampered Timmins' career and development. Timmins missed 18 months dealing with a concussion he sustained in juniors.

The Coyotes acquired Timmins as a restricted free agent, a 2022 first-round pick, and a conditional 2024 third-round pick in exchange for Darcy Kuemper. The Coyotes signed the restricted free agent to a two-year, $1.7 million deal.

Timmins played six games with the Coyotes this season and was held pointless.
