Early today it was announced that the Arizona Coyotes have named Lyndsey Fry as a new radio analyst for the upcoming season. For the upcoming season, Fry will be working with Bob Heethuis doing radio analysis for Coyotes games.

Emily Kaplan of ESPN broke the story and notes that Fry will be just the fourth woman to serve in a radio analyst role for an NHL team.

Fry is an accomplished player, playing four seasons in the NCAA and winning gold at the IIHF World Women's Championship in 2013 and silver at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games.

The Coyotes hired Fry in 2018 and has served various roles with the Coyotes since being hired. She has been a very visible part of the Coyotes organization since being hired.

Fry made news with the announcement that on January 23rd she will skate 96 miles to honor Leighton Accardo, a young fan and player who tragically lost her life battling cancer.

Per Craig Morgan, former-Coyote Paul Bissonnette, who previously did radio color commentary, will serve as a team ambassador, do FSAZ pre-game and post-game analysis for home games, and will do digital features.
