The Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) and Arizona Coyotes have partnered to host The Dream Gap Tour from March 6-8 at Oceanside Arena in Tempe, Arizona.

Local hockey stars Makenna Newkirk and Katie McGovern, will face off against each other as captains of the two teams on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Full rosters have not yet been announced but the marquee players involved are: Kendall Coyne-Schofield, Brianna Decker, Lee Stecklein, Marie-Philip Poulin, Ann-Renee Desbiens and Rebecca Johnston.

The weekend will wrap up with the women taking on the Arizona Coyotes Alumni, including former players Zbynek Michalek, Ray Whitney and Shane Doan. Chandler native, Olympian, and the Coyotes’ own manager of Marketing Strategy & Special Projects, Lyndsey Fry, will be joining the alumni on the ice.

The tour also incorporates all-girls hockey clinics that will be run by the Arizona Kachinas staff before each game. Premium ticket packages are available that include a Gala at Wild Horse Pass where fans can meet and eat with the women hockey players.

Fans interested in attending the games will want to get their tickets as soon as possible as Oceanside Arena has a limited capacity. Click here for tickets and more information.
