Coyotes to play Blues on Wednesday Night Hockey

Every year the national broadcast list is sent out and fans flock to Twitter and news articles to see how many times their favorite team will play on NBC and NBCSN.

Arizona Coyotes have long learned not to expect too much. The team isn't a big draw ratings-wise, and rather than helping grow hockey, National Broadcasts are more focused on showing you the Detroit Red Wings lose three times.

This year, the Coyotes will get one matchup on National TV. On March 31st the Coyotes will face off against the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday Night Hockey.

With the limited schedule and the Coyotes' lack of National appearances in the past, this should come as no surprise.

For fans who enjoy seeing their team in the spotlight, the matchup will be a tough one. The Blues are a season removed from a Stanley Cup, and they are still a very formidable team. Fans who care less about who is watching, will just need to plan to watch a different channel the last day of March.
