It finally happened. On June 29, 2019, the Arizona Coyotes acquired Phil Kessel from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Alex Galchenyuk and Pierre-Olivier Joseph.
Kessel was finally formally introduced to Arizona and he did that in the best possible way, putting on the classic Kachina jersey.

When the Coyotes first reintroduced the classic jersey for a few games who would have thought it would have become the go to jersey to show people in.
Phil Kessel has been a major acquisition for the Coyotes both on and off the ice.
In 996 NHL regular season games, he has 357 goals and 466 assists and is on pace to reach a few milestones in Arizona. He has also helped in the marketing of the Coyotes and is responsible for a 600% increase in season-ticket sales.
Phil ‘The Thrill’ Kessel would end the press conference with a message for Arizona fans.
And now, a message from the man himself, @PKessel81. #KachinaKessel pic.twitter.com/DqtNoM9gxM

Luckily his play on the ice should be more than enough to excite Coyotes fans.
