Barrett Hayton and Victor Soderstrom highlight Coyotes’ Rookie Camp

The Arizona Coyotes’ Rookie Camp will be starting September 5th.

The Arizona Coyotes have announced the start of the 2019-29 Rookie Camp.

Starting September 5 the Coyotes prospects will take to the ice At Gila River Arena and will practice on the 5th and the 6th. At the end of the camp, the Anaheim Ducks will be a six-team tournament featuring the Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, and Vegas Golden Knights at Great Park Ice in Irvine, California.

Present at the camp will be some of the Coyotes’ top prospects, some of whom will be skating for the Desert Dogs next season.

Set to be at the camp are the last two first-round picks Victor Soderstrom and Barrett Hayton as well as forward Nick Merkley. Joining them will be some of the Coyotes’ best prospects including defenseman Kevin Bahl and Cam Dineen, forwards Jan Jenik and Nate Schnarr, and goaltenders Ivan Prosvetov and Erik Kallgren.
