NHL: APR 08 Wild at Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes have announced that they have entered a new partnership with Fox Sports 910 and iHeartRadio.

With the move next season the Arizona Coyotes have the chance to be the center of attention. Instead of having to compete with the Suns or Diamondbacks they will have a chance to be the main team on the station. Fans also aren’t going to have to check to see which of two radio stations the game will be on.

This seems like a great move for the Coyotes. As someone who used to frequently listen to Coyotes games I often had difficulty in finding the game day broadcasts. A consistent channel should make it much easier for fans to catch games on the radio.

Part of this partnership will be the creation of the Arizona Coyotes Audio Network which will launch on the iHeartRadio app. “The team’s official audio network will include a number of podcasts, historic games, player and coaching staff interviews, coverage of special events, and a wide array of exclusive content - all available on a 24/7 timeframe.”

Games will also be simulcast in Tucson on Fox Sports 1450 when the games don’t conflict with Tucson Roadrunners games.

Are you excited for the switch? Did you ever have issues listening to Coyotes games? Do you plan on listening to historic games?
