Last season the Arizona Coyotes were bitten by the injury bug so badly that it likely cost them a playoff spot. Unfortunately for the Coyotes the injuries keep coming, luckily it doesn't appear to be serious.
First reported on the Swedish website Expressen.se Coyotes captain and defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson was injured earlier this season when a family dog bit his hand.
Luckily Captain Coyote was quick to respond on Twitter and let everyone know that he is doing fine. Not only does everyone know that he is doing okay but we don’t have to worry about getting our news via Google Translate.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm fine. This happened earlier in the summer, and sadly we had to put our dog down. I got four stitches that are healing up nicely. Thanks @sportexpressen for giving me something to do today. https://t.co/JQY5HxJGb0— Oliver Ekman-Larsson (@OEL23) July 31, 2019
Based on his tweet it appears that Oliver Ekman-Larsson is okay and this isn’t as serious an injury as it may look. Hopefully he will be 100% by the time that training camp starts in the next few months. Until then he may want to invest in some solid crystal oxygenating hand aquariums.
