Happy game day Arizonaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (Robin Williams voice). Well hello again, this unfamiliar writing style means only one thing....that I have stepped in for today’s game preview! Our outstanding writer Carl Pavlock needed a breather so I’ve been tagged into the ring. As you will see, the style of game preview will vary as I hope to give you a brief overview of our country lovin’ friends in Nashville.

The Arizona Coyotes are coming off an impressive loss against the Dallas Stars. While the game was lost, the team managed to make a comeback. The power-play was atrocious and had our website group chat attempting to figure the issue out. Is it OEL? I do not have the answer to that but I remember the gold old days when we shouted at the clouds and screamed “Damn you Keith Yandle.” The Coyotes will be coming off of a back to back and it will be intriguing to see how the team responds. Defenseman Alex Goligoski was someone I highlighted as a piece to try and move, however he left the game in the second period. Coach Rick Tocchet stated that he did not pass the league’s mandated protocol. For the Nasvhille Predators, there is hope. Kyle Turris is said to be returning tonight against the Yotes. The Nashville Predators are 3-1 in their last four contests and are a healthy 9-5-2 since Turris has been out (December 27th).

Players to Watch

Arizona Coyotes: We just need to see SOMETHING from Alex Galchenyuk. With only 2 goals in his past 10 contests, this trade is reaching levels of bad that I do not wish to discuss.

Nashville Predators: This was is easy, I would chose Kyle Turris. IF he is able to come back tonight then it will be interesting to see how he is integrated back into the system.

Injuries

Arizona Coyotes: Darcy Kuemper (upper Body), Christian Dvorak (pectoral), Jason Demers (knee), Michael Grabner (eye), Antti Raanta (lower body), Nick Schmaltz (knee), Brad Richardson (hand), Jakob Chychrun (lower body), Alex Goligoski (concussion)

Nashville Predators: Miikka Salomaki (upper body), Zac Rinaldo (undisclosed)
