It may have taken most of a season but Christian Dvorak is officially back with the Arizona Coyotes. It was just announced the Arizona Coyotes have recalled Dvorak from the Tucson Roadrunners.

Christian Dvorak missed most of the season with injuries, most recently recovering from a pectoral injury. It seemed incredibly likely that Dvorak would be back soon as the Coyotes traded Jordan Weal earlier today for Michael Chaput who is currently in the AHL.

The Coyotes went into this season thinking that the center position would be there biggest strength. Unfortunately Alex Galchenyuk has spent most of the season on wing, and Nick Schmaltz who the Coyotes acquired in exchanged for Dylan Strome is out for the rest of the season.

Christian Dvorak offers and instant upgrade for the Coyotes. In his last two seasons he has a combined 30 goals and 40 assists, which are by no means stellar numbers but will still be an upgrade. Depending on how much time Coach Tocchet wants to give him he could easily take Nick Cousins spot centering Galchenyuk and Clayton Keller.
