Yesterday featured only two games in the 2020 World Junior Championship with Finland beating Kazakhstan 7-1 and USA beating Russia 3-1.

Team Finland has played well this tournament and has two Arizona Coyotes prospects on the roster. Matias Maccelli has been having a great tournament and in Finland’s win, he had a goal and an assist. He was one of five players from Finland who finished with a multi-point game.

Aku Räty also has been playing well in the tournament. Yesterday he led the team in TOT with 18:04 and he registered an assist.

With Team USA the Coyotes have defensive prospect Ty Emberson. Emberson is a more defensive player so it doesn’t come as a big surprise that he didn’t have any points yesterday. He was third in defensemen in TOT with 18:51 and he had the second most shifts with 27.
