Game Preview
The Arizona Coyotes are heading east after a eventful homestand as they took 4 out of 5 games. The Coyotes revamped offense was on display as blowouts against the Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators allowed the team to gain some confidence back. With that being said, the Arizona Coyotes were not able to pick up a win during the last game of the homestand as the Philadelphia Flyers got the W.
The home and home with the Philadelphia Flyers is a rather interesting wrinkle into the schedule. The Coyotes have gained much needed rest as highlighted by Craig Morgan:
Coyotes D Alex Goligoski & Jason Demers are both on the ice this morning after maintenance days on Tuesday. So is Dakota Mermis. We’ll hear from coach Rick Tocchet after the skate but it’s safe to assume G Darcy Kuemper will start tonight vs. the Flyers with Antti Raanta on IR.

Talk about an eventful week for Dakota Mermis, just a few days after being announced as the Tucson Roadrunners captain, Mermis was brought up to the bigs. This however, comes at the misfortune of the Coyotes due to Antti Raanta’s unfortunate placement on the IR.
The Flyers are having an interesting season themselves. Key free-agent acquisition James Van Riemsdyk has been sidelined and only present in 2 games this season. Claude Giroux is having a great season as he has totaled 17 points in 15 games. The goaltending situation has been a question mark as Brian Elliott is only 4-5 this season.
The lines for the Coyotes are as follows:

Players to Watch:
Arizona: Jason Demers - He was a casualty of a brutal game against the Flyers to end the homestand. With Alex Golioski being a game time decision, his impact could be immense.
Philadelphia: Claude Giroux - This is a rather easy answer given how dominant he was during the first meeting. Giroux could have another big night with questions about the Arizona Coyotes defensemen and their health.
Injuries
Arizona: Antti Raanta (IR), Christian Dvorak (IR, Lower Body), Jakob Chychrun (IR, Knee)
Philadelphia: Michael Neuvirth (IR, Lower Body), Michael Raffl (IR, Lower Body), Corban Knight (IR, Collarbone), James van Riemsdyk (IR, Lower Body), Sam Morin (ACL)

Given the recent news of Andrew Barroway looking to sell some percentage of his ownership, we decided to have a little fun with the poll.
