The longest part of the off-season is here. The period between the excitement of the draft, free agency, and development camps and the beginning of training camp can seem endless.

While waiting for Arizona Coyotes hockey to return, fans can check out three members of the organization skating in Da Beauty League. Hunter Fejes, Hunter Miska, and Alex Goligoski are all participating in the annual 4-on-4 training camp held in Minnesota. This year, Da Beauty League’s opening night game held on Wednesday, July 12 will be available to Coyotes fans through streaming on Fejes and Miska will be playing with TRIA Team in Game 2 which will be held at 4:35 pm Arizona time. Goligoski’s RBC Team will be playing in the third game of the evening at 6 pm Arizona time.

According to their website, “Da Beauty League serves as a training ground for the players as they prepare for their upcoming professional seasons. Da Beauty League provides fans with 3 fast-paced regular season games played out of Braemar Arena on a nightly basis during the summer.” Additionally, a portion of the league’s proceeds will benefit the United Heroes League as well as Shine a Ligh7 foundation. Hunter Fejes, a 23-year-old winger, was signed to a two-way deal by the Tucson Roadrunners and spent most of last season with their (then) ECHL affiliate, playing 48 games with the Rapid City Rush. In that time, he earned a record of 18-20-38 and a call up to the AHL club. He played 19 games with the Roadrunners, earning a record of 1-4-5. He will be playing with the TRIA Team for Da Beauty League.

Hunter Miska, a 22-year-old goalie, backstopped the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs in 39 games last season. His save percentage of .920 helped him earn a spot as a Mike Richter Award finalist and helped his team reach the championship game of the NCAA’s Frozen Four tournament. Defeating teams like Ohio State, Boston University, and Harvard University along the way, the Bulldogs eventually fell to the University of Denver Pioneers. Miska won’t be returning to the Bulldogs though, as he signed an Entry Level Contract with the Coyotes this summer. He will also be playing with the TRIA Team.

Alex Goligoski, a 31-year-old defenseman, played all 82 regular season games with the Coyotes, finishing the year with a record of 6-30-36. This is the second season that he will be a captain for one of the teams in Da Beauty League, this year it is RBC Team.
