New Jersey is 1-7-2 in their last ten games, and is currently on a nine game winless streak. Injuries are starting to mount for the team as they fall to last in the Metropolitan Division.
Cory Schneider has been a workhorse this season with 51 starts, but he only has a record of 19-22-10. He also has a .913 save percentage with 2.66 goals against. He has not had the goal support recently to keep them in games.
The only bright side for the Devils is that Taylor Hall, who was acquired from the Oilers in June of 2016, is a Coyotes killer. He has always had at least a point against the Coyotes since he started playing against them in 2010.
Jersey is in a losing skid that seems to be the type they are desperately trying to stop, but they also just lost to Colorado.
View from Arizona
The Coyotes are looking to bounce back against the heartbreaking overtime loss against the Sens. They are looking to finish the season strong and with 16 games left it is possible.
The rookies are starting to heat up, which is good. Christian Dvorak is starting to come into his own, taking advantage of the first line center position opportunity that has been given to him. Brendan Perlini continues to light it up in his rookie season as well.
Three Questions
- Can the Coyotes create their own goals? - Yes, this is question again. The rookies are starting to score and create their own chances, but everyone needs to start producing.
- Will the Coyote take advantage of New Jersey’s depleted lineup? - The Devil’s are starting to see injuries mount up, can they take advantage of it?
- Will Taylor Hall wreck havoc? - Taylor Hall eats the Coyotes alive, will he strike again tonight?
Players to Watch
New Jersey - Taylor Hall- Taylor Hall is having a quiet season, but he always seems to find his way when he plays Arizona.
Arizona - Christian Dvorak- With his game starting to grow with the opportunities he has been given this season, he should be exciting to watch tonight.
