Last year it lasted seven games, this year Dylan Strome appears to be on an even shorter leash when it comes to producing.
The Coyotes have announced today that Strome has been reassigned to the AHL, with Mario Kempe being recalled:

This is a slightly surprising move by the Coyotes - many expected Strome to have a bigger chance to prove himself at the top level this season.
It appears, for now, that Rick Tocchet has already seen enough, and the questions on Strome at the NHL level still remain unanswered.
Kempe, meanwhile, had an impressive first game in Tucson, earning one goal and two assists in his first North American game since 2008-09 and after a fantastic preseason.
What do you think about this move - was it inevitable? Will Strome return after Zac Rinaldo serves his NHL suspension? What will the future hold for the Coyotes top prospect?
