In addition to the announcement of the roster, the Roadrunners announced their leadership core for the season.

Andrew Campbell, who is no stranger to the Coyotes organization, has been named the second Captain in the Roadrunners history.

He is following behind Craig Cunningham, who’s number 14 will be retired prior to the Oct. 27 game against the Iowa Wild. Craig Cunningham is now a pro scout for the Arizona Coyotes after his near-fatal medical incident on November 19th of 2016.

The Roadrunners will have a rotation of A’s this season, much like their parent club. The honor of the A’s go to Mike Sislo, Michael Latta, Dakota Mermis and Joel Hanley.

Mermis is the longest tenured Roadrunner to receive an A and this is his third season with the organization.

Stay tuned for the next Meeps Minute when we recap the first weekend of action for the Roadrunners on Wednesday.
