For the second time on Saturday, Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney went to the USA National Development Team Program well. With the 81st pick overall, the Desert Dogs selected Brendan Warren.

The Carleton, Michigan native is a left winger listed at 6'0" and 191 pounds. The young forward has nice size and is considered a good skater who lacks elite scoring skills. Of course, if he put up big scoring numbers he wouldn't have been around in the third round of the draft. Still, 19 goals and 19 assists in 61 games is respectable for Warren's first season with the 18 year olds.

The 18 year old winger will be staying in Ann Arbor, Michigan (home of the USNDTP) next year as he has committed to play for legendary coach Red Berenson at the University of Michigan.
