Some of us, myself included, thought perhaps the Arizona Coyotes would be implementing its iconic Kachina throwback uniforms as a permanent third jersey after the success of last year's Throwback Night.
However, we were wrong, and the Coyotes don't even have a regular alternate uniform for the 2015-16 season.
Still, the team has apparently decided to continue the new tradition of showing off its 90s threads, as the Coyotes announced via Twitter that it would hold #ThrowBlackFriday on November 27.
The Kachina throwback uniforms are close replicas of the original sets the Coyotes wore when the team moved to Phoenix prior to the 1996-97 season.
On November 27, the Yotes will host the Calgary Flames in a Pacific Division matchup.
So what do you think? Should the Coyotes plan more than one or two Throwback night's in the future? Or is the number they're doing now good enough?
