Five members of the 2013-14 Phoenix Coyotes will be playing for their home countries at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Four of them, Oliver Ekman-Larsson (Sweden), Martin Hanzal (Czech Republic), Lauri Korpikoski (Finland), and Zbynek Michalek (Czech Republic) are expected to play significant minutes for their squads. Phoenix's starting goaltender Mike Smith is unlikely to get the nod ahead of Canada's other goalies, Carey Price and Roberto Luongo. However, an injury could change things and force Smith into action.

In addition to guys currently donning the Sedona Red, former Desert Dog, Viktor Tikhonov will be playing for the host country -- the Yotes still control the young forward's NHL rights. Other former Coyotes involved in the competition include Czech Republic center Michal Handzus, Slovak wingers Petr Nedved and Branko Radivojevic, as well as Sami Lepisto and Ossi Vaananen, who will be patrolling the blueline for Team Finland.

The preliminary round schedules for the five current Coyotes' teams, including US TV information, are below. NBC will also be streaming the games online at NBCOlympics.com. You will have to have a current cable or satellite subscription in order to watch the games online.
