Per the official Phoenix Coyotes Twitter account, captain Shane Doan has been given the go ahead to play Saturday night against the Philadelphia Flyers.
BREAKING: Head Coach Dave Tippett says Coyotes captain Shane Doan has been given the OK by doctors to play tomorrow vs Flyers.

Doan has been out since early December with a form of Rocky Mountain Fever. He's skated with the team for several days and is finally poised to make his return after missing a dozen games.
The 37-year-old led the team in goals (12) and points (23) before his illness.
It's not guaranteed Tippett puts him in the line up right away but he knows how tough it would be to make Doan sit another game.
Dave Tippett said it will be hard to keep Shane Doan out of the game Saturday.
