Friday's Coyotes Tracks - No Schedule, But More Contracts

The NHL still hasn't announced the 2013-2014 schedule. On Thursday deputy commish Bill Daly said the hold up is an agreement on NHL participation in the Olympics. While the news everyone is waiting for is on hold, the league was still plenty busy on Thursday. A number of players inked deals, most notably LA Kings captain Dustin Brown. Brown signed an 8 year extension and did so without the assistance of an agent.
