Friday's Coyotes Tracks - The Desert Dogs' Architect Re-signing?

Media reports on Wednesday suggested Coyotes general manager Don Maloney may be close to signing a contract extension. This would be welcome news for hockey fans in the Valley. Meanwhile, in the NHL playoffs, the Rangers stayed alive last night while the Blackhawks and Sharks joined them on the ledge. Each team is one loss away from being eliminated from the post-season. The Avs signed hall of fame goaltender Patrick Roy to be their next coach and a couple of teams will be showing off new logos early next month.
