Alexandre Bolduc - Reassigned to Portland
After being placed on waivers Tuesday afternoon, center Alexandre Bolduc cleared and was assigned to the AHL's Portland Pirates. In his seven games this season with the Coyotes, Bolduc registered no goals, leaving with a plus/minus of -3. Returning to the Pirates, Bolduc will hope to continue the scoring touch he had before his call up to the NHL. The Montreal born Pirates captain led his team in scoring with 17 goals and 32 points in 34 games.
David Rundblad - Assigned to Portland
One player that head coach Dave Tippett continues to look at is David Rundblad. Putting in the frequent flier miles this year, the 22-year old Swede started off the 2012-2013 season with a bang in Portland, notching 17 goals and 23 assists in 32 games, impressing the coaching staff in Arizona. It's safe to say fans can expect to see him play in a Coyotes sweater if injuries pile up again.
Chris Summers - Recalled to Phoenix
Shuffling through their defensive rolodex, the Coyotes' latest recall is Chris Summers. Summers, who will be enjoying his first call up of the season saw 21 games with the Coyotes last year. Registering only five points between Phoenix and Portland during the 2011-'12 campaign, the University of Michigan alumni is having a great season thus far with two goals and 10 assists. Summers participated in this year's AHL's All-Star game and competition. He would leave his mark, smashing the AHL's fastest skate time, setting the new record at 13.324 seconds.
