With 31 days left until the Phoenix Coyotes preseason begins today we look at how the number 31 has played a role in the Phoenix Coyotes history. Today we are looking at one of the most colorful players on the Coyotes. Paul Bissonnette, aka BizNasty, played 31 regular season games with the Desert Dogs last season. The 31 games as a Desert Dog last season was the fewest he played in Phoenix, he played 41 games in 2009-10 and 48 in 2010-11.

Despite not getting a lot of ice time last season BizNasty had some memorable moments. The one that probably stands out for a lot of people happened on November 19th in the game against the Buffalo Sabres. For the first time his mother saw him play at the NHL level and he scored the game winning goal during the Coyotes 4-2 victory. This was his only point last season.

Bissonnette may be best known for his social media involvement. He is very prevalent on Twitter, where he has very funny, very candid tweets. If you aren't following @BizNasty2point0 you really should unless he already blocked you for chirping him. He also recently began working with Backhand Shelf doing a series of videos called Downtime with BizNasty, and if you haven't seen them yet they are definitely worth watching.

BizNasty signed a 2 year deal and will be a Coyote for the until 2014. Although he doesn't get big minutes and he doesn't get a lot of points, Bissonnette has an important role with the Coyotes.
