Introducing - Fake Plastic Cactus? (And we're looking for more!)

Five for Howling has been busy looking for help up the middle this off-season and have signed Fake Plastic Cactus (His actual name is Rainer) to a 1yr - 0$ blogging deal to attempt to entertain and inform you about the Coyotes. Seriously though, we're excited to have Rainer as a part of the team here at Five for Howling.

We are looking for even more people that may want to join the Five for Howling team. Do you like not getting paid to talk about hockey? Or do you really like recapping hockey games to your friends? Well then boy do we have a job for you!

Open Positions:

Staff Writer - Staff writers typically will help with links at times and then write feature stories to post during the day. They also help with breaking news stories and previewing up coming games. Staff writers are responsible for writing clear pieces that generate conversation (hopefully) at least 4 times a week.

Post-game Specialist - This writer can do some of the things the staff writer would do but is mostly tasked with recapping the games and getting a post up about it as soon as possible following the game. That means you'd have at least 82 posts a year and whatever else you felt like helping with.

If you don't have a sample try writing a few fan posts to make some samples and I'll be happy to chat with you about where you might fit best. While there's no hard deadline, sooner is better than later of course.
