The NHL Draft is officially over and as far as the hockey media is concerned they Phoenix Coyotes umm exist. The Yotes weren't the big story these past two days, which is fine because the team is used to flying under the radar and it wasn't til late last season where they became the story. And while they may not have been the "winners" of the draft they weren't the "losers" either, which is a good thing. On Day 2 the Coyotes drafted 2 forwards, 4 defensemen, and a goalie, which is probably about what people thought they were going to do, and personally I can not wait to see what these kids can do.

Today's tracks has the coverage of the Coyotes draft, coverage of the NHL draft in general, and there was a trade yesterday so we have some reactions to that.

Also Happy Birthday to Carl Putnam.
