Last night the Phoenix Coyotes beat the Minnesota Wild 4-1, and for the first time in franchise history became the Division Champions. With this the comes the third seed in the Western Conference, and home ice against the Chicago Blackhawks, although the Yotes were dangerously close to playing the Red Wings again, something nobody was really looking forward too. This is really a time for the fans to celebrate, a first ever Division Title, but the Yotes are going to be looking forward to the first round of the playoffs, and thanks to play this season from people like Mike Smith, Ray Whitney, and Radim Vrbata, they may go deeper into the playoffs then they have before. After all, this is a season of firsts for the Desert Dogs.
