For the first time in over a month the Phoenix Coyotes paid for not coming out of the gate ready to compete. The Calgary Flames took advantage by scoring the first three goals as well as the last goal in last night's 4-2 Calgary victory. The Desert Dogs are back in action Saturday in Glendale when they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets.

We've got links on last night's game, Mike Smith being the best NHL player in February, Vrby finally getting some national love, and more in today's Tracks.
