For the first time all month there is good news to report, last night the Phoenix Coyotes beat their Pacific Division rival the San Jose Sharks, getting a much needed 2 points to keep them in the playoffs race. Not only did the Yotes win but it was a 3-0 shut out win, Smith's fifth of the season. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come for the rest of the month. Also Five For Howling would like to wish Paul Bissonnette, aka BizNasty2point0, a happy birthday today. And if any of our readers are superstitious the first game we won this month had me sitting in Club South and if I had tickets there for the rest of the season that may help our performance.

Anyways we have the post game coverage today, some Coyotes news, and news from around the hockey world all down below.
