Last night the Phoenix Coyotes took a big leap forward in the playoff race, beating the Edmonton Oilers and moving ahead of the San Jose Sharks to the become the leader of the Pacific Division and 3rd in the Western Conference. The Yotes have just dominated the month of February, but we can't get ahead of ourselves, there is still a month of hockey left to be played, San Jose still has 2 games in hand, and we still need to get at least a point against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday to close out February in a proper fashion.

You may have noticed it but the Coyotes are starting to get more positive press than they had before. Radim Vrbata and Mike Smith seem to have become the popular girls kids at school, everyone is talking about them. We also have news from the minor league teams, post game coverage of the game against Edmonton, and news from around the NHL.
