Coyotes Tracks - October 13, 2012 - Bitter Resentment Edition

Today was the day Phoenix Coyotes fans have been looking forward to since last season ended. Tonight was going to be the night the first banner in franchise history was raised into the Arena rafters. Instead the reigning Pacific Division Champions and their fans will have to sit waiting on a work stoppage with no end in sight. Today's assortment of links also includes some minor league transactions, another veteran NHL defenseman off to see some action in the Central Hockey League, and what we can only imagine Gary Bettman's facebook timeline would look like.
