Coyotes Tracks - February 15, 2011 - We're Number 1! We're Number 1!

The Coyotes took down the vaunted Washington Capitals last night taking two points and with them going to the top of the pile in the Pacific Division. Sure, it's a tenuous lead for the moment as all the other teams will be playing over the next couple days while the Coyotes are off until Thursday, but for today? We're number 1! We're number 1! See?

Booyah! You like that? You like that? You know you like it because it feels good. Seriously though, this season is shaping up to surpass last season's at this point. Maybe not in point/win totals, but if the Coyotes can somehow pull out a Pacific Division title? How cool would that be? Enough ranting/gloating/etc, let's get to the links.

Also we'd like to offer our condolences to FFH contributor Carl Putnam for his "other" team's loss last night. We're sorry that had to happen... (Kind Of)

Lastly, please vote in the confidence poll up in the top corner of the site. The trends should be going up. =)

Great gift for the Coyotes
Unlike Valentine's Days past, the Coyotes are in first place in the Pacific Division, marking the latest date the franchise has held that lofty perch since arriving in the Valley in 1996.
