Ok, so I got caught up watching a Biggest Loser marathon off the DVR and passed out last night.  So these are going up a bit late.  We are still 2 days away from the Stanley Cup Finals starting...there is still no real news on the Coyotes ownership front (but that won't stop famed G&M journalists from writing ridiculous articles!)...and the blog overlords still have not turned this blog orange and black...hmmm...

But let's focus on what's most important for this Thursday...Go Suns...BEAT LA!!!

Speaking of aforementioned journalists:

Bettman coolly exploits both Winnipeg and Glendale - The Globe and Mail
The fact that Mr. Shoalts continuously goes to Lieberman for news and treats it as gospel is starting to crack me up.  I know I never got the full write-up done for the City Council meeting, but this is a man that (1) claimed to not want to vote for the $25 million "insurance policy" because it was not explicitly capped...despite there being an explicit cap in the amendment that he was holding in his hand; (2) claimed that he was only voting in favor because a 7 year old boy asked him to; and (3) the mayor was ready to slap by the end of the meeting for being an irritating doofus.  I don't know if Lieberman is just going off the old "any press is good press" adage or if he just likes to see his name in the papers and be seen as a go-to source.  But the one-two punch of Lieberman and Shoalts are a dangerous duo of misinformation.  Way to let your personally biases cloud every word you write Mr. Shoalts...I'm sure you'll win another award for it soon.

After the jump...lots of Stanley Cup Finals preview stuff, a really nice piece from Mitch Albom (I'm shocked as well), crazy tennis court, and more...

The Worst Managed Pro Sports Franchises of the Last 5 Years " SportsMoney - Forbes.com
Who had highest average payroll cost per win AND with no more than 1 post-season appearance in the last 5 years?  Coyotes don't make this list because they had some moderate success on the ice...but I think we can all agree they've been pretty poorly managed, yes?

Would You Dare Play a Round on the World's Highest Tennis Court?
No, you're not looking at a futuristic tennis video game. This court actually exists at the ultra-luxurious Burj Al Arab's tennis courts located in Dubai. Inside, video of Andre Agassi playing with Roger Federer on this interesting and revolutionary turf.
