I'm not feeling all that great today so I'm going to make this a little brief, though I suppose I usually do that anyways...
The Coyotes visit the Calgary Flames tonight in an effort to bounce back from last night's disappointing loss to the Canucks and get back on track in time for the playoffs. That won't be easy necessarily against a Flames team that is trying to keep what's left of it's playoff hopes alive. They need a lot of help and they need to win practically every game from here on out.
The Coyotes played awful awful hockey last night and had better shape up. Our playoff ride doesn't exit at round one at all and we need to start looking like that.
Starting Goalies
He's played well on the second game of back-to-backs all year since he knows he's getting the game long in advance. He's won a lot of overtime games, but I'd love to get this one in regulation.
Kipper is alright I guess, his numbers are good at least, but his team around him has just laid an egg for the most part.
Good things happen when I put him here and he should know this team pretty well. Heck half the Flames roster is made up of players that were on the Maple Leafs earlier in the year. If only Vesa Toskala was in net...
He's what you get for Olli Jokinen after trading Matthew Lombardi and a 1st round pick to get Jokinen in the first place. Suckers.
