Phoenix Coyotes Back to Fail Mode in 6-3 Loss to Stars

The story of the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Phoenix Coyotes continued last night as they certainly went the ugly way in a 6-3 loss to the Dallas Stars. In the process the Coyotes fell further behind in the standings, and while it's early, they're doing a great job of putting themselves in an early hole. I'll get to the good and bad (mostly bad) of the game in a minute, but  want to mention how absolutely infuriating it is to watch this team struggle half the time when they showed us exactly what they can do last season. Did they totally change philosophies or revamp the roster? Nope. But all the same they're playing like they have no idea what they're doing. I can (And will if I don't slack off) talk about the myriad of ways the problems can be fixed, but what do I really know? No one's necessarily running for the panic button yet, but It's safe to say the concern alert level has been raised to yellow.

The Good:

Shane Doan Scored: That's 1 for the Captain.

The Bad:

Pretty much everything else imaginable. The PK was atrocious, the team took really bad penalties, Ilya Bryzgalov got pulled after the third goal and then the Stars put in 3 more on Jason LaBarbera. The defense was constantly out of position. Even on the goals that they didn't cause by being totally out of position the Stars found ways to bounce the puck off of them, intentionally or not, that found the way into the net. Horrible play made even worse by horrid luck. Let's see what else...

I give this game 1.5 out of 5 stars. Would not see again.

What would you recommend fixing?
