Well sports fans, another day, another game. Today we get to play host to the Edmonton Oilers a team whose goalie, Dwayne Roloson, has thoughly owned us in the past. That's a good note to start the Coyotes comeback from the dead tour right? Urgh! On a more positive note, it looks as though Martin Hanzal should be ready to go for tonights game AND Kurt Sauer has been activated off of the IR. That should be very very good for our Defense. Maybe now everyone can get back to playing in a decent pairing on D and we can look like we know what we're doing.
Five For Winning:
We Play Well In Front of Telly: I don't know what it is about Tellqvist, but you guys just play more focused when he comes in for a game or two. I don't need to understand it though. Just make it happen again.
Get Used to Your Old Lines In a Hurry: With Hanzal and Sauer both back tonight, that means with the exception of Joakim Lindstrom being in for Kyle Turris, we're back to the guys we started the season with. No one is on the shelf, which is good. Now get used to each other out there in about... 30 seconds. Make it look like no one has missed anytime at all.
Play This Game Like It's Your Last: Or it may as well be. Evey game from this point on is a have to win if you want to be in the postseason. We have a lot of ground to make up and we'll know pretty quickly if we have what it takes in order to make it.
Remember What a Pass Is: Our passing was absolutely terrible last game! If you're going to miss the pass at least make sure it's a hard one so that those on the other team not expecting it won't be able to handle it. I'll take an icing call over a turnover too so hard passes and get headed up the ice, not side to side in your own zone. Thanks.
Keep The Pressure on Roloson: Over this cruddy dtreak we've been having we play for a period really really wenn. We had 20 shots in the first of last game and then... not much. Keep Rolie the Goalie on his toes and we can take this one. Why not? We have to.
