Phoenix Coyotes @ Edmonton Oilers - Preview and Gamethread

Phoenix Coyotes Edmonton Oilers

Location: Rexall PlaceStart Time: 7:00 p.m. MST
Radio: 1510 AM

Last game of the 4 game road trip tonight. After a brutal game last night we need to heal up quick and try and finish the sweep of Western Canada teams. We've been playing some solid hockey, knocking of Vancouver and a Calgary team that had won 6 at home. Edmonton has won three of their last 4, and are just outside the top 8 in the conference. We had better to be ready to play right away and try to play the full 60.

Five for Winning:

Solve Roloson: Roloson has been Kyptonite to the Coyotes no matter where he's played the last few years. He's somehow just had our number both in Edmonton and in Minnesota. Hopefully the young guys can show him some new tricks and we can get to him early.

Still special teams... : Yeah, this key will be here for a while. At least until the Power Play get get it's percentage up. Looked better of late, and you did get two against a sleepy Vancouver team. You need to get it working against higher quality teams as we get closer to the postseason. It's still way early to count on playoffs, but that's the goal and the team needs to be ready to play once we get there. start fixing this, our biggest weakness, and we'll be a lot more formidable.

Don't let up: We kept letting Calgary back into last night's game. If you get the lead you need to keep up the intensity so that you can finish them off. Have some killer instinct guys!

Be tired later: Yeah, I know it's a back to back, but you've got one more game after this then you get a week off. Find the energy for those two, then take a rest.

Keep up your game: You played a solid couple of games. The reserves have shown up in a big way. Keep playing up to your potential and not like the traffic cones that some people expect you to be and we'll be fine. Keep up the good work boys!

No Yotes Quotes for today with the back-to-back, so Just MUSIC OF THE GAME:
