The Phoenix Coyotes have assigned defenseman Maxim Goncharov to the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL. Goncharov played well in the preseason, but still needs to grow into the North American game....

Looks like the two conditioning assignments were exactly that. Joel Perrault was coming off a shoulder injury and Anders Eriksson is coming off a serious case of not being a good NHL player....
