Welcome to the SBNation home for the Phoenix Coyotes (Unofficially of course) There aren't that many Coyotes sites to be had out there, but we're trying to be the best site around for Coyotes news and notes, as well as a connection to hockey news from around the league. Starting this coming season we'll also add correspondents for the San Antonio Rampage and Arizona Sundogs.
If you're new to the site, the first thing you'll want to do is sign up for an account. You're now able to use your Yahoo! ID to register, or come up with your own separate login if you like. Once you're registered you can join any site in any sport on the network with just a click or two. No separate registration is required. After you sign up you can upload an avatar, change your profile information and other settings.
There are separate guides for many of the features here. But let me address one thing really quick. I know the vast majority of Coyotes fans are used to a Forum type of commenting. Well it's a bit different here. The stories that are posted are meant to basically be that header in the thread that you're used to seeing. After that you can go off wherever you like on that topic. In general chats or in gameday threads you can just talk. Unlike most forums the comments don't have to be refreshed, they'll pop up as you're typing. This makes for more of a conversation than anything else. Don't look at posts as just what I have to say. If there's just a post that there's a game, it's meant to be used as a place to gather and talk while everyone watches. If there's a post about some other hockey related event, add your two cents. This isn't just MY site. It's a site for all Coyote fans. That means that you have to be involved to make it a community. I look forward to seeing you in the comments!
