According to the incomparable Sarah McLellan, in addition to the reports we have previously provided regarding Phoenix Coyotes forwards Mikkel Boedker and Lauri Korpikoski, defenseman Rostislav Klesla has also made his way across the pond to Europe, playing with HC Ocelari of the Czech Extraliga. Klesla has played in four games with the team, registering no points and a -2 rating.
Also, from the article, McLellan reports that Martin Hanzal has returned to the Czech Republic and could decide on a team to play for there in the near future.
That puts the count of Coyotes players in Europe at four, and there may be a few more that will explore these options if progress continues to not be made between the NHL and NHLPA to end the lockout soon.
