At least for now. Yesterday was the start of free agency and there were a lot of little moves, although the big moves haven't happened yet. The Phoenix Coyotes made a move early on and acquired Right Wing Dave Moss and goaltender Chad Johnson. The Yotes did lose two of their players though, Ray Whitney went to the Dallas Stars and Adrian Aucoin signed a one year agreement with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Both teams seemed to want a veteran presence and were willing to pay for it. Moss probably isn't going to be the last signing this year as General Manager Don Maloney knows he has a big hole to fill, but keep the faith guys, if anyone can do it GMDM can.
We have some news about our newest Coyotes after the jump along with some coverage of some of the bigger moves from yesterday.
