Yesterday it was announced that Coyotes captain and free agent Shane Doan got a big offer from an undisclosed Eastern Conference team. It was so big that fans across the Eastern Conference are hoping that it wasn't their team, and at least one article was written hoping that their general manager wasn't stupid enough to make such an offer. At the same time apparently Greg Jamison has the finances to purchase the team, story below, so hopefully the Coyotes and Doan can work together to sign him and hopefully we get the home town discount.
Below after the jump we have some Coyotes news including the reactions to Doan's huge offer, some news from the CBA talks, and some news from around the hockey world.
