Yesterday the Coyotes prospects had the day off, and they decided to spend it hiking Camelback Mountain and going food shopping. Additionally the Judge rejected the Goldwater Institute's most recent case against the City of Glendale, clearing the path for the lease to go into effect as long as there aren't any further delays. There does appear to be a discrepancy between the City and the GWI over the due date for the petitions that are currently being circulated, the City and Joyce Clark are saying July 8th, Goldwater and their clients are saying they have until the 16th. We will be keeping you updated on this story and more.
In addition to the good news for Coyotes fans, there was a fair amount of hockey news yesterday. There were a few resignings and an important announcement regarding next year's salary cap floor and more after the jump.
