May 7, 2012; Glendale, AZ, USA; Greg Jamison speaks at a press conference regarding the potential sale of the Phoenix Coyotes to the Jamison Group prior to game five of the 2012 Western Conference semifinals at Jobing.com Arena. Mandatory Credit: Matt Kartozian-US PRESSWIRE
Yesterday Lisa Halverstadt reported on Twitter, @LisaHalverstadt, that the City of Glendale will be discussing the Jamison deal during a closed door workshop next Tuesday. Since this is a closed door session fans and residents will not be allowed to speak and give their opinions during the session. While they will not be actually voting during that session this is a big step forward in the deal which hopefully can be done very soon to get an actual vote and have papers signed.
In other hockey news Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final is tonight and the Kings lead the series 1-0. Hopefully the New Jersey Devils have some tricks up their sleeve, tricks that don't involve using your hand to put the puck in the net Zach Parise, because I for one would really like to see the Devils take this one. For that and more check out the links after the jump.
