As part of a partnership with Samsung, the SBNation blogs are each writing about their favorite sports highlight. This being the Phoenix Coyotes blog we'll be going with a Coyotes moment obviously but there really are a lot of great Arizona moments to choose from if we didn't. I'll give them some honorable mentions later on, but let's get to my favorite at the moment.

While the Coyotes' postseason success certainly is a great highlight too, I'm not sure that a moment was bigger in this Coyotes season for an individual than this one. I still get chills watching the video as the crowd explodes after Doan takes a feed from Ray Whitney
with seconds left and somehow gets the puck by Evgeni Nabokov. After going through so many 2 goal games, watching him almost get it more times than I remember the team was going crazy for him, the fans went nuts, and the look on his face was excellent even though he was exhausted. As fans we've rooted for the captain for so long that it was great to see such a good guy finally get one of the things he had been chasing for so long.
Honorable Arizona Sports Mentions: Diamondbacks 2001 World Series win over the Yankees, U of A National Men's Basketball Championship, Cardinals finally making it to the Super Bowl.
