GLENDALE, AZ - MAY 22: A general view during a second period face off between the Los Angeles Kings and the Phoenix Coyotes in Game Five of the Western Conference Final during the 2012 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at Jobing.com Arena on May 22, 2012 in Phoenix, Arizona. On Thursday the Phoenix Coyotes players cleaned out their lockers and headed home for the summer. The first question on many people's minds is how many of the players will be back in the Fall. The team has a number of free agents including captain Shane Doan. Between the Jamison group trying to close the deal on owning the team, roster issues, and the CBA expiring on September 15th, this summer will be full of interesting hockey news and that doesn't include the draft and development camp.
While the off-season is on the minds of Phoenix's hockey club and their fans, golfing and hanging out at the lake aren't on the minds of the Devils and Rangers. The two teams meet tonight for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final this evening at 5 p.m. MST. The Devils hold a 3-2 series lead.
