Coyotes Tracks - April 28th, 2012 - Starting Out Strong

GLENDALE, AZ - APRIL 27: Goaltender Mike Smith #41 of the Phoenix Coyotes talks with Keith Yandle #3 in Game One of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Nashville Predators during the 2012 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at Jobing.com Arena on April 27, 2012 in Glendale, Arizona. The way the hockey pundits were talking the past few days we were expecting the Phoenix Coyotes and Nashville Predators' game to go into overtime 0-0. Proving that they are not to be trusted during these playoff series though the Coyotes won the game 4-3 in overtime, with goals from Radim Vrbata, Rostislav Klesla, Mikkel Boedker, and the game winning goal coming from Ray Whitney. The Coyotes hopefully can build off that momentum with their next game on Sunday, although during the last series the Coyotes won their first match and lost the second.

In today's tracks we have news from last nights game, as well as some news from around the hockey world all after the jump.
