Coyotes Tracks - April 18th, 2012 - Taking The Lead Again

CHICAGO, IL - APRIL 17: Adrian Aucoin #33 and Boyd Gordon #15 of the Phoenix Coyotes celebrate with Rostislav Klesla #16 after Klesla scored a goal in the 3rd period against the Chicago Blackhawks in Game Three of the Western Conference Quarterfinals during the 2012 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at the United Center on April 17, 2012 in Chicago, Illinois. The Phoenix Coyotes went on the road and beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 in overtime. The fact that all three of the games played between these two teams has gone to overtime shows how evenly these two teams are matched, and its likely that this is going to be a long victory. The victory was somewhat bittersweet though, Raffi Torres delivered a big, very questionable hit to Marian Hossa who had to be removed from the game on a stretcher and Torres is likely to face discipline from the league and probably a suspension. But right now the Coyotes are leading the series 2-1, and they will be playing again in Chicago on Thursday.

After the jump we have some of the recaps of last nights game, some news from the other games played last night, and some news from around the hockey world.
