The Phoenix Coyotes got three of their most important players back into the lineup last night. The results were encouraging. One of those players, forward Radim Vrbata, scored both goals in a 2-0 Coyotes victory over the San Jose Sharks. The win vaulted the Desert Dogs into seventh place in the West. Phoenix returns to the ice tomorrow night at Jobing.com Arena when they face off with division rival Anaheim. The Yotes will be looking for another win to help them stay in the playoff chase and Ray Whitney will be looking for point number one thousand in his NHL career.
We've got post game recaps and reaction, as well as news on a couple of signings from yesterday, news from around the hockey world, and since it was so pretty we thought you might enjoy seeing Vrbata's second goal from last night again in The Final Howl.
